Nov 13 In Celebration of Eva Zeisel

A Public Space and PEN American Center partner to celebrate the life and work of the acclaimed designer Eva Zeisel on what would have been her 106th birthday.

Eva Zeisel's prison memoir, chronicling her experience in a Soviet concentration camp, was published in A Public Space 14 shortly before her death.

Friends and admirers of her work, including the writer and historian Istvan Deak and art historian Karen Kettering, will join A Public Space and PEN to discuss Eva Zeisel's remarkable achievements as a woman and artist. The event will also include a reading of her prison memoir, and audio recordings from the E-book Eva Zeisel: A Soviet Prison Memoir.

$12 admission, which includes a copy of A Public Space 14.
