About the author
Hussain Ahmed is the author of the chapbook Harp in a Fireplace (Newfound) and the poetry collection Soliloquy with the Ghosts in Nile (Black Ocean). A Nigerian poet and environmentalist, he is pursuing a PhD in creative writing at the University of Cincinnati.
